About MAHA
MAHA stands for "Make America Healthy Again." It's a nationwide movement focused on reversing the chronic disease epidemic in America through advocacy, grassroots activism, and policy reform.
MAHA Action is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization dedicated to organizing and empowering Americans to advocate for meaningful reforms to public health policy. We provide the tools, resources, and community to help make Americans the healthiest people on Earth.
Our nation is facing a health emergency:
More than 40% of children suffer from at least one chronic health condition.¹
Three in four American adults have at least one chronic condition, and over half have two or more chronic conditions.²
Depression in U.S. adolescents and adults increased 60% in the past decade.³
Only 40% of Americans ages 17–24 are physically fit and weight-eligible for military service.⁴
75% of U.S. medical schools do not require clinical nutrition classes, and only 14% of residency programs have a required nutrition curriculum.⁵
We outspend every other developed nation on healthcare, yet Americans keep getting sicker. These trends are reversible—but only if we demand action.
We focus on several key areas: Rebuilding our food system through regenerative agriculture, restoring transparency and accountability in government agencies, advancing a medical system designed to heal through preventive and holistic approaches, reducing the toxic load from food, drugs, pesticides, and other environmental factors, and electing leaders who prioritize reducing chronic disease in America.
MAHA Action is committed to supporting president Donald Trump's MAHA Agenda and supporting the efforts of the current administration.
Each organization plays a different role in the movement. MAHA Action (501c4) focuses on advocacy, grassroots organizing, and legislative tracking. MAHA PAC focuses on electing MAHA aligned candidates. MAHA Center (501c3) focuses on education and research. Together, we cover advocacy, elections, and education: three pillars of lasting change.
Our president Tony Lyons runs MAHA Action Inc. and is committed to driving meaningful change in public health policy.
MAHA Action is headquartered in New York City at 307 W 36th St, 11FL, New York, NY 10018. However, our work and impact extend nationwide.
